Certification in system UkrSePrO is a procedure of conformity of the goods and services to the Ukrainian standards. The certificate of conformity is a document which gives out body of certification of Ukraine in which it is told that the goods or service conform to the Ukrainian standards and specifications. The analog of the certificate of UkrSEPRO is international certificate ISO 9000.
Frequently goods sale, especially wholesale batches in large trading networks, is impossible without the certificate of conformity. Many enterprises aspire to receive such certificates as for consumers is matters. 
At passage of import customs supervision, on some goods it is necessary to receive the certificate of conformity. Without availability of the certificate of conformity, customs clearance will be impossible.
Certification variants:

•  certification of the single goods is produced without its destruction, appearance or working capacity spoil. The certificate stands out for a period of 1 year.
•  certification of the consignment of goods imported simultaneously under one consignment documents. The certificate stands out for a period of 1 year.
•  batch production certification. The certificate stands out for a period of 1 year without visiting of production and for 2-3 years with production visiting.
•  production certification in conformity ISO 9000/9001 with production visiting. The certificate stands out for 5 years.

As basis for issue of the certificate of conformity the test report of goods which conduct the accredited laboratories serves.
Documents necessary for reception of the certificate of conformity:

•  the contract;
•  a certificate copy about Enterprise registration on which the certificate of conformity will be written out;
•  the quality certificate from the manufacturer;
•  transport documents (СМR, the bill of lading, the air waybill or train waybill);
•  an invoice (invoice);
•  any engineering documentation which is in availability;
•  in certain cases product samples, for carrying out of testing.

Cost of reception of the certificate of conformity or the decision begins from 800UAH to 15000UAH.

sanitary epidemiological service

sanitary epidemiological service which is included into structure of the Ministry of health protection of Ukraine. On some goods, at import, without fail it is necessary to receive the hygienic decision (a sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion). Without such hygienic conclusion customs registration will be impossible. On the resolution from 26.12.2008р now acts. №25 about optimization of the state sanitary-and-epidemiologic supervision about objects of foreign trade activities according to customs codes. If the goods are in the list which is presented in the given resolution at customs registration it is not necessary to do the hygienic conclusion.
Basically the hygienic conclusion is necessary for the goods with which the person directly cooperates: clothes, the cosmetics, some kinds of the equipment, foodstuff, water, alcohol, footwear.
As basis for issue of the hygienic conclusion sanitary-and-hygienic examination which is conducted by the accredited laboratories serves.

•  the contract and the specification on the goods;
•  a certificate copy about Enterprise registration on which conclusion will be written out;
•  the quality certificate from the manufacturer;
•  any engineering documentation which is in availability: goods description, sheet of safety a railroad train, appearance;
•  in certain cases product samples, for carrying out of testing.
